Habit Tracker Example

I’ve never been good at planning ahead, preferring instead to act on impulse. Recently, I put the ideas presented in Atomic Habits and Habit tracker into practice and discovered that I was more effective than ever before. Check out my February accomplishments and the step-by-step process I used to create my habit tracker below!

Process:
1. Created a simple excel with the activities(personal + professional goals) on the left hand side (masked in the image above)
2. Created columns for each day in February and tracked each activity as DONE or MISS based on the status
3. Put a highlight cell rule to highlight DONE in Green and MISS in Red. This actually helps to create a picture at the EOD to understand the targets achieved and missed.
4. Put a %completion towards the end to gauge which activities are getting done easily and which are the activities where you need to improve yourself.

Achievements:

1. Read 400 pages ~ 15 pages everyday

2. Walked 123,760 steps ; Covered 81 kms ; Drank 50 litres of water

3. Completed 4 certifications from Udemy
— Marketing Psychology
— Write & Publish Your First Nonfiction Book on the Side
— SEO Tutorial for Beginners
— Writing Tools & Hacks

4. Explored 8 topics on Product Management
— GUCCI (Goals, Unmet Needs, Customer Segmentation, Competition, Integrated Ecosystem) Framework for Product Strategy
— AARRR (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue) Strategy for Product Management
— How to improve your LinkedIn Profile
— Hard Skills and Soft Skills for Product Management
— PREP framework — Point, Reason, Example, Point
— Product Critique
— Product Guesstimates
— User Personas

5. Read Newspaper on 24 days out of 28 staying abreast of the latest updates across the world.

6. Content Marketing Insights —
— LinkedIn — 13 posts resulted in 15,392 impressions(170.1% increase from January); 204 Engagements(264.3% increase from January); 34 new followers
— Medium — 86% Read Ratio on the article posted in February
— Twitter — 5 Tweets resulted in 140 impressions; 121 profile visits and 2 mentions
— Instagram — 58 stories and 5 reels shared resulted in 2917 impressions and 178 engagements

Until I saw the outcomes, I didn’t value Atomic Habits as much as I do now.
Welcome, March 2023!
